Youth and Children’s Ministry Update

Happy Friday all! Hope you are as ready for the weekend as I am. I haven’t talked to you guys in a decent bit and wanted to shed some updates as we continue on through the summer.
As of today, I plan on continuing the online ministry, as we’ve done over the past three months, at least through the end of the summer. We release four videos a week on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. Our schedule will be:

We also will continue our CORE meeting via Zoom until we can gather safely together. I will be working on some plans for socially-distant CORE meetings, but nothing is set in stone as of today. We meet every Wednesday at 5pm on Zoom for CORE. It’s open to all 5th-12th graders that are interested in Youth Group. If your youth is interested, contact Marc at youth@cliobethany.org or message us on Facebook so we can send you the link.
Another question, you might ask is “What about VBS?” I’ve been doing some deep thought on how to do it this year. Whether it will be online, at-home, rescheduled, or cancelled altogether is still to be determined. I’m going to talk to some of our leaders and see what their thoughts are and see where we go from there. It’s tentatively scheduled for August 4th – 6th, so there’s still some time and things change so quickly, but as of today it’s all in the air as most things are.
Thank you all the support and patience for our ministries we’ve adapted to the online life. I will be uploading our videos to the website as well, so that you can catch up on the 7 different series we’ve offered so far. So stay tuned for the post-spam over this next week or so as we add our videos to the website.
