Plan to make the fellowship of Sunday School part of your Sunday morning routine. Seek out a Sunday School class or a small group to study with. On Sunday mornings starting in September 2024
September means the return to Sunday School! Yes, there is Sunday School for adults, but it is focused on discussion time, rather that a school lesson. This year we will meet at one of the round tables in the fellowship hall at 9:30am for some discussion before worship time. We wills tart with conversations from a
book by James W. Moore titled God Was Here and I Was Out To Lunch. Parts of the book will be available for you to read so you will know, week to week, what the discussion focus will start with. Sometimes, our
conversations moves in different directions, but it is still meaningful to share ideas of what it means to be a Christian in today’s society, and how we show that. All are invited to come and share, or just come and Listen. No one is asked to read aloud, no one will be forced to lead in prayer; just come and share your thoughts. Being a Christian can be very challenging, but sharing conversations together may be able to help us gain confidence in speaking up to share our faith outside of the church building. Conversations may be started by Sue Boyse, but her skill and knowledge is elementary (as a former teacher) so other adult wisdom and conversation is most appreciated. Here we go!!!
Everyone is welcome!
You can join a class at anytime. It is not required that you come every Sunday. Please, come as you are. Casual attire.
Pastor Sarah will soon be offering a bible study opportunity. Men’s Night Out is a great place for the men of the church to connect with Bible Study.
