Remember that June 11th is the last Sunday that Pastor LuAnn will be preaching at Bethany UMC. Her message will be “Here I Am Lord” and she will also serve Holy Communion. After worship, please stick around for a Good Old Fashioned Potluck in celebration of Pastor LuAnn & Pat. Bring a dish to pass, no sign ups necessary. Meat & drinks are provided. Love offerings for Pastor LuAnn are being collected as well. We all wish Pastor LuAnn and Pat the very best at their next appointment at Port Huron First United Methodist Church.
We will be receiving Pastor Kathy who will preach from the pulpit on July 9th, though she will be present in worship with us on July 2nd. Please remain in prayer for all of the pastoral transitions taking place, not only here at Bethany, but within our district and conference. We pray for smooth transitions and for God’s hand to place the right people in the right places at the right time.
