Tomorrow (March 1st) we welcome you to the season of Lent with much to get involved in.

Regular Wednesday Night Live activities are happening, followed by an Ash Wednesday Worship Service at 7pm.

So come at 5:00 for bible study/activities then stay for dinner at 6:00 and end the day with Ash Wednesday Service at 7:00. CORE is still meeting after school, too. CORE is an after school ministry for 5th thru 12th grades.

Check out the March / April Tower Notes for other fellowship times during this season. Each Sunday evening there is a special Lenten service at one of the area UMC churches. Check the tower notes or the weekly bulletin for full details on locations, meals and programs.

Philippians Series – Pastor Kayla is diving into the Book of Philippians for 4 weeks in September and October of 2023.

September 2023 – We followed the lectionary during September, but on September 3rd we had a lay member deliver a message, on September 10th we were outside and then we were back in the sanctuary on September 17th. Catch up here!

Summer 2023 Worship – Pastor Kayla continues in the lectionary this summer and shares some special messages with us. This playlist has worship from June/July/August 2023.

Lay Speakers Includes many sermons from our laity over the years including April 16, 2023 with Jerry Mowl, the All Music Sunday on April 23rd with reflection from Rachel Deshone and June 4 2023 with MaryLou Kleeman. Now included is September 3rd with Elizabeth Whiting.

Mission Projects – 2023

Everyone can participate!

Ongoing – LOVE Food Pantry – Accepting cash donations and non-perishable food donations
Knitting with Jesus – Meets on Thursdays @ 1pm
Aluminum & Steel Tabs and Bottle Caps – Den & Karen Nichols collect these in support of Ronald McDonald House, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The monies earned from this collection go to providing a place for families to stay at Ronald McDonald house while their children are being treated there.
Ongoing – Collect items for Operation Christmas Child. Toys, hygiene products, crayons, hats, gloves, etc. must be able to fit in shoe box, no liquids, and no weapon or war like toys. Bring them to church office or youth ministry!
