Our final Sermon Stumper topic became a 4 week seris! A request to preach on The Book of Revelation was far too daunting for one sermon. Actually, four weeks will barely scratch the surface, but we can plan further study if you are interested. It will be extremely helpful to you to read the chapters for each week ahead of time, as we will obviously not read them all in worship. In Part One, we will introduce the context and the author of this Book, and examine the letters written to 7 churches. Consider the comments made about each church, and compare them to churches today. What do you find in common? What may be different? According to these letters, what would you say was the general state of the church at that time? What is it now?

9/22 – Part One Chapters 1 – 5 The Letters and the Lamb
9/29 – Part Two Chapters 6 – 11 Seven Seals and Seven Trumpets
We will take a 2 week break while we run our stewardship campaigns and preach on that topic.
10/20 – Part Three Chapters 12 – 18 A Dragon, Two Beasts, and Seven Bowls
10/27 – Part Four Chapters 19 – 22 The Heavenly Song of Victory
