This is the final part of a 3 week Stewardship Campaign. Seeds of Faith, Flowers of Hope: The Dandelion
This is the last of our 3 week Stewardship campaign during which we heard why Pastor Cathi has such a love for Dandelions. I hope you have a new appreciation for this stubborn, pesky, unwanted weed, even if it is still not your favorite.
Read the Scripture text from Paul’s letter to the Christian believers in Rome. Consider his description of the way in which the followers of Jesus are called to live. How is this way of life different from what we normally do? Who are we called to love, honor and bless? With whom are we called to rejoice, pray, and forgive? How is that related to dandelions?
This is the 2nd of 3 week Stewardship Campaign. Seeds of Faith, Flowers of Hope: The Dandelion
Read this scripture from the Gospel of Luke. It is a small portion of a larger teaching of Jesus, in which he reminds us of God’s great love and care for us. Consider the dandelion, and ponder these questions: Why are some blossoming plants considered “weeds”, and others “flowers”? Why are some desirable, and others not? How do we respond to plants that are labeled “weeds”, and to those labeled “flowers”. Don’t miss this unusual sermon series. Listen to Part 2 Below
This is the 1st of 3 week Stewardship Campaign during with we will learn why Pastor Cathi has such a love for dandelions. Why is this stubborn, pesky, unwanted weed so special to her?
