Let us answer some of your questions about VIBE.
What is VIBE?
VIBE is our after school ministry for grades 5 thru 12.
Where is VIBE?
VIBE takes place at our church, Clio Bethany UMC, at 353 E. Vienna. We are just a couple of blocks from Carter Middle School.
When is VIBE?
VIBE takes place from 3:00pm until 4:30pm when Wednesday Night Live starts. Most kids stay for WNL and for dinner. Many parents also come at 4:30pm (or after work) and join the kids for dinner (at 5:30pm).
Is there transportation available?
Contact the church office if you are interested in arranging transportation for your child. Many kids come from Carter Middle School and we can offer you some suggestions.
What happens at VIBE?
Part of the time is quiet time for the kids to work on homework or read. This time is electronic free. Adults supervise all of the activities. The kids also get some free time when they play games, use their devices, hang out with each other. We also have a devotional lesson and we usually organize an activity whether an outdoor game, a project for Missions or for the church. VIBE is designed to be a place for local youth to hang out, be able to discuss and explore their faith in Jesus Christ and grow in friendship with one another.
