On Sunday, June 4th, it was Graduation Sunday. We celebrated our graduates and Marc Middleton, youth director delivered the message. He was surrounded by the youth who served in worship to lead in prayer, read scripture, and also pass out frogs. Frogs, you say? Everyone who came to worship, received a tiny plastic frog as a reminder to “Fully Rely On God”.
We are blessed with some incredible youth members at Bethany UMC. As school winds down for those that did not graduate, many of the youth are getting excited about summer camp. A little history, 2011 was the first year for Bethany kids to travel to the UP for camp. Since that time, 38 kids have attended Summer Games along with 16 adults. This year we have a potential of 13 of our Bethany youth going to camp. Therefore, we will be needing scholarships! The cost for one camper is $300.00. If you feel led to send one of our youth, please mark it on your envelope. You can give the full amount or any portion you’re able to give. Thank you in advance for all your help.
Here’s some photos from Graduation Sunday. Great job everyone!
