Pop Tab Missions – from Karen Nichols
On behalf of a family member, Den and I collect the aluminum tabs from the tops of cans. She and her husband take hundreds of pounds of these tabs for recycle and the monies earned go to the the Ronald McDonald House in Ann Arbor. This money is used to pay for families to have a place to stay while family members are being treated there. We would appreciate our church family helping us with this project and leaving tabs in the blue container on the coat rack near the Sunday School rooms. A note from one of our sister-in-law’s Christmas letters outlines some of her successes. Her first grandchild was treated at Children’s Hospital so this is an ongoing focus for her and her family. She even picks up tabs from the ground wherever she goes! Thank you, Karen and Den Nichols.
