We’ve been working through a sermon series about being in relationship with God and with one another since February 7th. The first 3 sermons have been posted and are available for your listening enjoyment if you missed any or would like to revisit any topics.
- Listen: Relationship Matters ~ Healing & Wholeness From February 7th
- Listen: Relationship Matters ~ Trust and Sacrifice From February 14th
- Listen: Relationship Matters ~ Faithfulness From February 21st
Throughout this season of Lent, in the sanctuary, you will see an old, rugged cross with slips of papers pinned to it. Any worshipper is invited to pin prayers to the cross and give your concerns over to Jesus.
If you are struggling with your earthly relationships or with your relationship with God, this is an excellent sermon series and scripture readings to dive into. If you are in need of prayer or help with those (or other) issues, please reach out to the church office by phone or by using the forms at the bottom of the website. In addition to a nurturing pastor, there are also several lay people in the church trained through the Stephen Ministry program to pray with you and help counsel you through rough patches. You don’t have to go through this life alone. Listen to the sermons here and spend some time with God, then come and see how being a part of a community of believers can be so much more fulfilling than trying to do “life” on your own. We live in a society that values personal responsibility and rugged individualism over most else, however, as followers of Jesus we are invited to live differently, in community with one another, serving and being served by those we surround ourselves with.
If you feel compelled, connect with a small group on Sunday mornings (9am, all ages), Tuesdays (morning Women’s study, evening Men’s group), Wednesdays (evenings, all ages), or Thursdays (AA in the evenings) to help support and lift one another up.
The series, Real Love: Relationship Matters continues on March 6th with a message from John 13 on Community and Connection. Come & Worship at 10:30am!
